Starts at $52,392 (8 step scale)Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Interview, train, supervise, and evaluate departmental personnel (Staff and volunteers)Implement cataloging procedures consistent with OCLN policiesMaintain an efficient work-flowAssist in the development of Library policies and proceduresAssess budget and supply needs of the departmentServe on professional and network committeesParticipate in workshop and training opportunitiesPrepare reports as requestedParticipate in grant writingMay be required to serve as 'Librarian in Charge' in the absence of the Assistant Library Director or Library DirectorPerform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Library Director or Library DirectorThis position includes an assignment to the Adult Services one- or two-hours weekday afternoons and two out of four Saturdays per month.
