Partner with the office's senior leadership - Principals, Designers, and Architects - on elevating design ideas, values, and standardsParticipate in marketing and business development including proposals, interviews, and PR effortsStay abreast of new design trends and technologiesInnovate and solve design challenges creativelyIndependently act as lead designer for a variety of complex project types simultaneouslyLead all phases of project delivery from fit planning, conceptual design, design development, coordination, and preparation of documents, through project completion and post-occupancy studiesLead meetings with the client including visioning, programming, workplace strategy and detailed design presentationsParticipate in project site visits and construction administrationInterface directly with clients, product representatives, furniture dealers, fabricators, multidisciplinary consultants, general contractors, and building / planning agenciesManage small to mid-size project teamsCollaborate with Project Managers on mid- to large-scale projectsParticipate in cost estimate review and overall design budget analysis and managementReview design and technical drawings of other more junior designers and provide mentorshipYour Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ownership and accountability for project- and firm-wide successExcellent design creativity, aptitude, competence, and experienceThought leader and innovatorExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent people skills including inspirational and collaborative leadershipExtensive knowledge of design research, workplace strategy and FF&EAdvanced understanding of corporate commercial real estate objectivesExtensive knowledge and experience in all phases of interior design / architectural project deliveryAbility to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based design processInitiate mentoring of junior staff within the office and at project site locationsWorking knowledge of state and local building and fire codes related to interior environments, including accessibility a mustExtensive knowledge of CDs and proceduresOffice 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills a mustStrong Autodesk Revit skills a mustStrong SketchUp, Enscape, 3D and other modeling software skills are highly desiredStrong Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) skills are highly desiredHand sketching and conceptual drawing skills a plusSustainable design experience, with a preference for hands-on LEED and/or WELL project participationYour Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design or ArchitectureMinimum 12 years of experience working on interior design and/or architectural projects, with a primary focus on design for workplaces, commercial interiors, and tenant improvement projectsInterior Design Certification and LEED and/or WELL accreditation strongly preferredCandidates must have legal working status in the U.S. as Huntsman will not be sponsoring work visas at this timeCompensation, Benefits, and Perks:

Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications.
