Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Content Marketing Manager will play a hybrid role, both narrating SF New Deal’s unique story and uplifting the vibrant small business community of San Francisco. This dual-focused position demands a creative and strategic thinker passionate about leveraging the power of social media to foster community engagement and drive business growth.The ideal candidate will possess a robust portfolio in video and photography, a proven track record of compelling content creation, and visual storytelling across social platforms. We seek a dynamic, highly organized individual who stays ahead of content trends and is adept at launching initiatives that resonate with diverse audiences, all while maintaining brand integrity.Key Responsibilities:SF New Deal Brand Support (50%):Create and implement unique social media content to tell the SF New Deal story to a wide range of different audiences including small businesses, community partners, corporate philanthropy, foundations, city government, and the general publicLead the creation of engaging content highlighting San Francisco's unique small business ecosystem, including dedicated business spotlights, vibrant corridor features, and dynamic event recapsDevelop and execute innovative social media strategies focused on building partnerships and collaborations with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations to amplify our mission and impactWork across teams to build campaigns that highlight organizational news, fundraising goals, momentum, press, and other key initiatives across social media channels2. Small Business Content Strategy & Execution Support (50%):Collaborate directly with small businesses to co-develop and implement bespoke content strategies, ensuring each plan amplifies its unique story and business goals across various social media platformsProvide hands-on support and guidance to bring small business content plans to life, driving engagement and community growthOther Responsibilities:Capture, edit, collect, and organize video and photo content, including grid posts, reels, stories, etcCommunicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor stakeholder comments and direct messagesEnsure consistency across social media accounts' design and copy (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, Profile pictures, Bios, Instagram Grid, etc)Stay up-to-date with current trends, technologies, and best practices in design and social mediaYou’ll be a fit if you:Love social media, creating IG stories, talking about grid strategy, and making beautiful contentAre design-minded and have a creative vision for visual storytelling.Have experience with social analytics and scheduling toolsAre relentlessly resourceful with a strong bias for action and willingness to roll up sleeves and get things doneAre committed to advancing equityQualifications:4+ years of relevant work experience creating and managing social content and community communications that drive measurable results with increased engagementStrong foundation of content planning and recommending strategies.Able to work independently and collaboratively with remote team membersOutstanding project management skills; ability to balance multiple projects at a time and self-prioritize workloadExceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsFlexible and proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with concurrent and competing deadlinesApproximate Weekly Time Required: 40 hrs/weekPreferred Work Days for this role: Monday - Friday,may include some evening & weekend hoursBenefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, Matching 401k, Work from Home Stipend and Monthly Wellness Stipend, Professional DevelopmentAnnual Salary: $80-90k depending on experienceLocation : This role is primarily remote/work from home and requires a lot of time on the computer and the phone.
