This position requires availability from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, full-time 40 hours per week in the North Kansas City office.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
Three or more years of experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and After Effects.
Illustrator and Photoshop skills should be Proficient. Fast and efficient are a must.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desire to continue building a skill set with education and training.
Ability to work with short deadlines and quick turnaround times.
Willingness to ask questions when you do not understand a task or objective is a must.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with marketing team on a wide range of materials that may include presentations, packaging, label creation, signage, and marketing materials
Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Two or more years of experience in professional graphic design.
Associates Degree and/or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in graphic design, art, or related discipline.
Experience working in CBD, THC or wellness related fields is a plus.
Experience creating packaging and labels is also a plus.
Ability to juggle concurrent projects with tight deadlines
