We are obsessed with delighting our members through superior products and services and an unwavering commitment to helping them become more effective marketers, build stronger brands, develop a more productive industry, and benefit humanity through bold leadership and innovation programs.LocationNew York City (hybrid)Major ResponsibilitiesThe person in this role will lead our efforts in the areas of brand management, content marketing, relationship marketing and commerce marketing. Responsibilities include stewarding the strategic direction of our membership offerings in these areas, programming and hosting events and interfacing with members and other organizations to execute the following:Member Committee Meetings – up to 12-15 meetings each year. Committees bring members together for peer-to-peer learning, benchmarking, best practice sharing, networking, and addressing industry issues. Each committee meets approximately four times a year and this position will curate the content, hosting and meeting management for these events.

One Day Conferences – The individual in this role will program 1-3 of these events each year, centered on one of the content areas referred to above.

Brand Masters National Industry Conference – This individual will help his/her supervisor to plan, promote, program and execute the many details that come with holding a successful multi-day conference.

Partnering with the ANA’s head of Award Programs to support all facets of the REGGIE Awards. The REGGIES recognize the best of the best among hundreds of submissions describing successful marketing activation campaigns in multiple categories.

Thought Leadership – Identify opportunities for the ANA to do research or develop points of view that help not only members but marketers across the industry solve problems and drive growth for their businesses and brands.

Note: Domestic travel will be required to support meetings (Approximately 2-3 trips per month).

QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 7+ years of agency, client side, or other relevant marketing experience

Subject matter expertise in brand and content marketing preferred Strong relationships across the marketing industry

A passion for the work – for the right person, this role essentially offers a PhD in marketing that puts you “on the inside” of important industry conversations.

Attributes/SkillsStrong interest in marketing and advertising Savvy approach to programming events and designing thought leadership outcomes that truly assist members Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines is critical.

Must be hands-on and proactive. Customer-service oriented attitude a must.

Should be comfortable with A/V conference room technology, or quick to learn.

Ability to execute job responsibilities in a timely fashion, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy. Candidate must be highly motivated and an organized self-starter who will take the initiative to get the job done.

Strong writing and people skills are also essential. Familiarity with the following platforms a plus:

SurveyMonkey, Zoom, MS Office, and MS Teams.

Salary and Total Rewards PackageStarting pay range:
