POSITION PURPOSE:

The Sr. Applications & Product Content Specialist is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and optimization of the company's product catalogs and application databases.

This role ensures that all product and application information is accurate, up-to-date, and effectively presented to maximize customer engagement and sales. The individual will collaborate with customers and various internal teams, including Marketing, Sales, & IT.

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Catalog & Applications Database ManagementOversee the development and organization of product catalogs and application databases (ACES & PIES).Ensure all product listings are accurate, comprehensive, and adhere to company and industry standards such as Auto Care.Stay current with industry changes and regularly update catalogs and application databases to reflect new products, changes, and discontinuations, including the integration of OE supplier data into mater application databases

Product Data QualityMaintain high standards of data quality, including product descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, and availability.Conduct regular audits to identify and correct discrepancies.Implement processes for ongoing data validation and quality assurance.

Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with marketing to collect, format, and distribute product content as it relates to PIES.Collaborate with the sales team and provide analysis to support sales strategies and customer needs.Coordinate with the IT team to manage the integration of product and applications data across platforms and systems.

System and Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to enhance catalog and applications database management processes and tools.Implement and manage catalog and applications database management software and tools.Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies, such as the integration of AI.

Product Data QualityMaintain high standards of data quality, including product descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, and availability.Conduct regular audits to identify and correct discrepancies.Implement processes for ongoing data validation and quality assurance.

Customer ExperienceEnsure product

information on customer websites and online portals are accurate and updated in a timely manner.Monitor customer feedback and analytics to improve the presentation and organization of product information.Support customer requests relating to product data, form, fit, and function.

Performance MonitoringTrack

key performance indicators (KPIs) related to catalog and applications database accuracy, completeness, and customer engagementGenerate and analyze reports to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.Drive continuous improvement based on data, insights, and feedback.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES :Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years in product catalog management or a related field.

Automotive or Automotive Aftermarket industry experience strongly preferred.Exceptional analytical skills, including a strong proficiency in Excel, and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with catalog management software and e-commerce platforms (e.g., ACES, PIES, SAP).Familiarity with data management tools and practices.Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of digital marketing principles preferred.Familiarity with product information management (PIM) systems preferred.Experience with UX/UI principles and practices preferred.TRAVEL:Occasional travel may be required for training, conferences, or stakeholder meetings.
