Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty (PenFed Realty), a wholly owned subsidiary of PenFed Credit Union (PenFed), is hiring a (Hybrid) Senior Marketing Operations Specialist at our Tysons, Virginia location. The primary purpose of this job is to oversee the operations, processes, and infrastructure of PenFed Realty’s marketing department, including managing the department’s tools, projects and programs as assigned. This includes overseeing agent-facing marketing programs, managing the department’s martech stack and digital infrastructure, developing processes and procedures, analyzing marketing data and campaign ROIs, and performing various administrative tasks as assigned. The incumbent is passionate about organization, creating efficiencies, establishing processes, gathering and analyzing data, is comfortable in the digital world, and loves having a hand in all aspects of running the department.

Program/Campaign Management

Build and manage programs and campaigns in support of marketing objectives and other business initiatives, including print, email, social media and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns.

Regularly measure, analyze and report on the performance and effectiveness of the company’s campaigns, activities and digital assets, including websites, social media, search, email, print, events and others. Use learnings to improve future performance.

Technology/Digital Platform Management

Monitor/manage agent-facing and corporate marketing tools, technology and platforms as assigned. Troubleshoot problems, maintain a list of enhancement requests, regularly evaluate adoption and performance, manage change rollouts, create plans and execute areas of improvement.

Assist the IT help desk in troubleshooting staff and agent inquiries on marketing tools and platforms.

Maintain accurate contact lists (adding/deleting/tagging contacts) for use in email, social media and other digital platforms and campaigns.

Collaborate on mobile strategy and implementation of websites and other marketing projects as needed; plan for future changes and optimization per department campaigns and company goals.

Other

Manage company events as assigned, including but not limited to trade shows, conventions and webinars.

Own the department’s administrative tasks, e.g., paying invoices, maintaining contract library, organizing G drive, others as assigned.

Create departmental process and procedures to improve operations.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

Required:

Excellent written and oral communication skills; copy-editing/social media copywriting.

Five (5) years’ experience managing results-oriented marketing, change-management or adoption campaigns, with a strong understanding of ROI-strategies and tactics.

Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage and track multiple project and tasks simultaneously.

Expert knowledge of Facebook and Instagram native functionality and ad buying campaigns.

Expertise in the latest in SEO and SEM tactics/best practices.

Expertise in Google Analytics and other commonly used metrics dashboards.

Ability to develop reporting methods and analyze results of initiatives (samples will be needed).

At least 1 year of experience in website development.

Basic familiarity with Accessibility Standards (Section 508 requirements).

Expertise in MS Office. Black belt in PowerPoint a BIG plus.

Collaborative sense of urgency, teamwork and entrepreneurial spirit; willingness to embrace the company’s values of integrity, improvement and innovation.

Preferred:

Experience in development and execution of Google ad campaigns.

Familiarity with web content management systems and customer relationship management platforms.

Basic competency with Adobe Creative Suite.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.

Travel

Limited travel to various worksites is required.
