Applicants must be in San Diego for the entirety of this IN-PERSON 16-week internship.
We are a sales and marketing firm that works with a ton of big deal companies and people, and you are the creative genius/special unique unicorn who will show the world.. and your parents.. and your old guidance counselor.. that social media qualifies as a talent - by helping our growing team of real estate agents build their individual brands through reels, stories, and tik-toks!
You're going to use this experience to finally quiet that inner voice that keeps telling you that if you really put your mind to it, you could be on Selling Sunset. You're going to learn all the ins and outs of real estate, and finally understand exactly what "the market" even means.
Finally, you'll get hands-on, real-world experience in actual marketing and learn from people who make more than a professor's salary. You'll get to use a really expensive camera and take pictures of big-deal meetings, million+ dollar houses and get invited to events.
It's unpaid, but the people are super cool and you'll learn more in your first week about marketing and real estate than you did in 3+ years paying tuition to read about how it worked based on theories from before you were born.
Also, you'll get to put a referral from an important-sounding company on your resume to look good for when you finally have to grow up and get a big-person job; which by the way is coming WAY too soon. Plus, interns in this program have literally been placed at companies like Google, Amazon & TikTok. Yes, TikTok.
And in the event you're as good at this as your best friend tells you you'll be, you've got a real shot at a job with the company that will let you afford that white BMW you've been building online for longer than you can remember, way before your friends get one. Not that you're materialistic, they'll get to ride in it too after all.
All while finally getting your friends and family off your back about how you will ever use your major.
Responsibilities
• You will use the experience of the questionably healthy number of hours you've spent of your life posting yourself and others, praying that most of it gets buried somewhere deep in the internet never to be found, to help capture our team of really friendly, fun and amazing agents learn and grow and succeed while being their authentic selves for all the world to see!• Work both individually and with a team of fellow Tik-Tokers and marketing interns on projects, tasks, and content.
Qualifications
• Your real-world business experience is negligible, but your attitude, ambition and positive attitude are unmatched• Sales scares you just a little bit, but you're almost certain that you'll be really good at marketing! That is at least until next semester when you change your entire life trajectory because of a super inspiring class.. or book.. or a TikTok.. again
