Senior Media Buyer

to join our team on a contract to hire basis for 40 hours per week.What the Day-to-Day Looks LikeSet-up, QA, implementation, and ongoing oversight of paid media campaigns across multiple advertising channelsMonitoring campaign delivery & performance, and flagging issues to the rest of the teamHelping to ensure campaigns meet and exceed client KPIsWorking with the Media Planning and fellow Buying team members to support development of effective media plansContributing to BPI’s new-to-market products & services that help clients deliver more impactful campaignsReporting on advertising performance metrics across platforms to assess campaign performance, inventory value, and opportunities for improvementAttending new vendor meetings to help assess the fast-changing digital media landscape and develop new buying solutions for clientsSupporting Buying team members in developing the agency’s buying productAssisting Buying team members in designing, executing, and analyzing tests to improve the efficacy of our buying tacticsWhat You BringExperience running campaigns for political, public affairs, and/or direct response clientsEnthusiasm for Democratic and progressive politics, and excitement to work with our non-profit and corporate clientsAnalytical thinking skills, with knowledge of business intelligence dashboard software such as Google Analytics, Datorama or Tableau0 – 5 year(s) relevant work experience; exposure to digital media buying from internships, fellowships or coursework idealHands-on experience with search & social buying platforms including Facebook, YouTube and Google Ads. Programmatic experience is a bonus.Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skillsStrong organization skills and attention to detailA readiness to work independently, grow quickly, learn new skills, think big, and get the job doneSponsorship is not available for this positionBenefitsBPI offers a comprehensive total compensation package for this role between (depending on experience) $4,250/mo
