We are looking for a skilled mortgage loan officer assistant to join our top-producing team and assist our mortgage loan origination officers. This position requires a unique mix of sales and customer service skills, plus the ability to manage loan files from beginning to end. Responsibilities: • Gather and coordinate necessary loan documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork • Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch manager, and assigned loan originator and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items • Provide administrative support such as screening and making calls, booking appointments, etc. • Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator • Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction • Make outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce them to Capital Home Mortgage and our mortgage products and services. • Engage with prospects in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and trust to establish positive relationships. • Provide information about our mortgage products, rates, and terms, and answer any questions or concerns the prospects may have. • Identify and qualify potential leads based on their interest, needs, and eligibility for our mortgage offerings. • Follow up with leads and prospects to nurture relationships, address any additional questions or concerns, and guide them through the mortgage application process. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calls, interactions, and leads in our CRM system. • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies, messaging, and campaigns. • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly performance targets for call volume, lead generation, and conversion rates. Qualifications: • Proficiency in MS Office required; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred • Excellent customer service and communication skills and willing to go above and beyond for customers and team • Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred • Preferred degree in banking or finance, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required • 2-3 years of professional office environment and administration or mortgage experience preferred • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience in telemarketing, sales, or customer service is advantageous. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with people over the phone. • Persuasive and confident communication style, with the ability to convey value and overcome objections. • Strong listening skills and the ability to empathize with prospects to understand their needs and concerns. • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding performance targets. • Familiarity with CRM systems and basic computer skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Compensation: $18 per hour plus commission
