Job Description:

The Sr. Manager, Social Media spearheads the social strategy and analytics to grow the global IMAX channels. Reporting into the Sr. Director of Social Media, this dynamic role will help lead a creative team in curating engaging social campaigns, driving content development to amplify the iconic IMAX brand and elevate highly anticipated film releases.

What You'll Do:Leverage data and analytics to inform IMAX social strategy and drive growth across Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging platformsLead brand and film marketing social strategy, ensuring ideas and concepts translate into a cohesive campaign and engages the IMAX audienceOversee reporting, analyze channel performance, and provide actionable insights to meet KPIs and accomplish growth goalsApprove the editorial calendar and social content, ensuring best practices, effective messaging, and clear brand identitySpearhead new initiatives by driving team creativity and innovation and staying up to date on industry trendsCommunicate and present IMAX social strategy and performance for stakeholders, executives, and internal teamsCollaborate cross-functionally with internal creative and marketing teams and align on strategy to accomplish overall marketing goalsDevelop relationships with studio counterparts and integrate IMAX into the creative direction of each film marketing campaignManage agencies and vendors, ensuring quality deliverables and encouraging innovative approachesAct as a mentor for junior team members and train new hires, providing them with social expertise and best practicesWhat You'll Need:

7+ years of experience in a Creative Advertising or Marketing Services role at an Entertainment company or agencyDegree in Marketing or related fieldFamiliarity with social tools such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sprout, etc.Expert in all social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTubeStrong verbal and written communications skills, including proofreading and editingExcellent organizational, planning, time, budget and project management skills; highly-organized and detail-oriented, while thinking strategically and big pictureSelf-starter and self-motivated with the proven ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Compensation:101,455.00 - 125,000.00
