REGULAR HOURS WORKED:
30-40 per week HOURLY RATE RANGE: start at $15/hr for 90 days REPORTS TO : ___Sales/Marketing Director DIRECTLY WORKS WITH: Primary duties are typically working with Lanlogic's Sales/Marketing Director and General Manager. Additionally, this position may, at times, work with Lanlogic's Accounting, Hosted Services and Consulting teams. PURPOSE
The purpose of the Sales&Marketing Operations position is to provide administrative support for sales/marketing and account management related activities, in order to free up the Sales/Marketing Director's and General Manager's time to focus on higher value activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Marketing related tasks (List mgmt., event planning/execution, web research, social site mgmt, content mgmt., surveys, etc.) 50% 2. Sales related tasks (Lead nurturing activities, price list updates, telemarketing, etc.) 30% 3. Account Management related tasks (Reports, research, calls/follow ups, etc.) 10% 4. Other duties as assigned by the company 10% Total 100% GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position will support the Sales and Marketing effort at Lanlogic - You will be expected to manage your time well and communicate openly and frequently. Duties will include maintaining prospect and client lists, assisting with marketing event planning, telemarketing, completing various web research projects, posting to various social sites, sourcing/creating/editing marketing content, preparing/administering online surveys, preparing and distributing reports, updating pricing lists and communicating with both internal team members and clients alike. There will be other administrative tasks assigned from time to time. This job is a hands-on learning opportunity for a person interested in immersing themselves into every aspect of a professional services small business firm in the dynamic field of IT consulting services.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to learn and perform new tasks quickly and independently
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong MS Office experience and confident with business web tools
- Reliable work record with strong references
- Project Management experience
MEASUREMENTS OF ACCOUNTABILITY Ability to take initiative on new projects/opportunities Completion of job assignments efficiently and independently Meets deadlines and successfully accomplishes goals Ability to work effectively with team members
