IT IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.The PositionThe Marketing Specialist will provide support & guidance to the Sales, Marketing, and New Product Development Teams. They will assist in the development and implementation of the marketing functions including but not limited to all sales and marketing collateral, tradeshow logistics, customer correspondence, social media, website support, focus groups and e-commerce support.Role and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate graphic process for all packaging formatsUse software to perform photo editing for photos that will appear on marketing materials, sales presentations, website, email marketing, newsletters, and social mediaMaintain, update, and publish customer pricing as neededCollaborate with the sales team to provide creative sales presentations.Plan trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirementsImplement marketing campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales data; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating and manage campaign calendarAssist with broker related marketing campaigns and duties including but not limited to website, email marketing (newsletters),Develop and distribute promotional materialsAssemble and distribute sample requests from sales in finished and prototype packagingResearch competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share and trends, pricing, and advertising; maintain competitor databasesAssist with daily operation of sales and marketing requests ensuring smooth and efficient workflowProvide support for all Sales Executives, Marketing Director, and New Product Development Manager.Generate creative marketing and social media content to increase product awareness and brand relevanceSupport new opportunities for marketing programs to attract new consumer entry-points.Maintain content and manage product on e-commerce websites.Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsManagement and organization of shared marketing and sales drivesOnline update of images, content, reviews, videos, etc. for Amazon, Walmart, Target.com, all OPD sites and RangeMe.QualificationsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneouslyMust be task oriented with a high attention to detailRequires self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional mannerAble to communicate with executive level personnelDemonstrated Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel & Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator)Project management experience delivering projects from ideation to executionSuccess in a collaborative and creative environmentEducation and/or Experience4-year degree in Business/Marketing and/or relevant experience3 + years of experience working with a sales team preferably in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) environmentPhysical RequirementsSit for extended periods of time, ability to type, talk and communicate, visual ability to use a computer, move around facility, occasional lifting and bending.Working Environment?
