Impact XM develops solutions for virtual and live events. We are looking for an
Environmental Designer
to join our team. An Environmental Designer provides creative solutions for meeting client needs and objectives using exhibits and exhibit-related projects as a sales and marketing tool. Be involved with projects from beginning-to-end based on ability to understand sales process, production operation and value of product.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Design environments across various brand and industriesProvide design and visualization support to design team leadsAbility to manage several projects simultaneouslyAble to create photo realistic renderingsPresent concepts to internal stakeholders in a clear concise wayBe responsible, organized, and accountable your work and deadlinesMust be able to take directionUnderstanding of materials and building techniquesAbility to read construction drawingsTranslate feedback and apply to workCollaborate within the Creative department and across the organizationCommunicate with clarity, confidence, competence, professionalism and authenticityStay current with design trends and apply them to work where relevantREQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university Industrial Design, Architecture, Scenic Design, or other relevant degree; and 3 – 5 years’ experience of relevant design experience or similar experience successfully executing projects and programs and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of 3ds Max, Vray, Adobe Creative Suite, as well as Unreal Engine is a plus.Must be passionate about working with people and be customer-centric.Experience in the event marketing or a creative solutions-based agency.Thrives in an entrepreneurial and independent environment.Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness, and receptivity.Actively works out solutions.Effective communication skills are required: including the ability to make effective presentations; prepare written documentation including proposals, quotations and letters; maintain accurate and complete client and project files.Must be able to develop excellent rapport with existing and prospective clients.Effectively Communicate your design rationale.Exhibit the ability to multi-task, sell, and operate under severe time constraints and immovable deadlines. Good organization, detail and follow-up skills are required.Proficient using Microsoft office programs.
