We are currently focused on Austin & the Texas Hill Country and have 5 hotels and over 100 vacation rentals in our portfolio.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our team. As our Social Media Intern, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand presence across various social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. You will have the opportunity to lead content creation efforts that showcase the unique experiences offered by Wilder Ways while also highlighting the behind-the-scenes magic that brings our properties to life.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.Create engaging and dynamic content (including posts, stories, reels, videos, etc.) that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and schedule social media calendars that are timely, relevant, and aligned with company initiatives and events.Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and conversations relevant to our industry.Engage with our community and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.Conduct research on industry best practices and stay up-to-date with social media trends and tools.Provide regular reporting and analysis of social media performance metrics.RequirementsCurrent enrollment in or recent graduate of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field.Must have ability to drive to all Wilder Ways properties throughout the Texas Hill Country.Passion for social media and a strong understanding of various platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate new ideas.Basic graphic design and video editing skills preferred.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy.Additional InformationThis is a part-time internship position based in New Braunfels, Texas.3-month duration with the option to extend.Opportunities for growth and development within the company may be available based on performance and availability.
