ROLE SUMMARYCorePower Yoga is looking for a Marketing Intern who can support our marketing team on social media and partnership projects. This role is temporary through the Spring of 2024 with the possibility to extend the contract and requires 15-20hours/week. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Social and community management:• Support the Social Media Team in scheduling the monthly social calendar in Sprout Social and posting on our social channels• Support the Social Media Team in brainstorming post ideas using social trends and competitive brand research, including concepts for key holidays• Help grow brand love on the social channel, flagging any customer experience or PR concerns as needed• Create UTM URL tags for social posts, assisting the Social Media Team with reporting as needed• Create and post Stories following the calendar and as ad hoc needs arise for social amplification• Support the Social Media Team with creative briefing needs and content calendar planning for organic social, using the project management platform, Asana• Generate content/captions for social posts as needed by team• Review and provide feedback for social media creative
PR & Influencer marketing:• Support the Marketing team with partnership research, planning, logistics and any related events• Assist with tracking and reporting on press and influencer coverage• Coordinate with CorePower's PR Agency to onboard influencers and media with comp memberships• Support maintenance of organic influencer program through engagement communications and routine renewals of partners
EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS• Marketing, communications or social media experience or equivalent educational path• Access to a laptop computer and mobile phone• Strong written (creative, editing) and verbal communication skills• Understanding of brand-appropriate language and ability to follow brand guidelines• Ability to stay organized and attend to details• A self-driven team player who takes initiative• Affinity for and understanding of the CorePower Yoga brand, and yoga and fitness industries• Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.; knowledge of Smartsheet, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Sprout Social, Asana and Canva is also useful• Must be able to work in a stationary position, move and walk around event and office spaces, and lift occasionally up to 25 lbs• Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga values: Empower Everyone, Grow Forward, Laugh Together, Practice Gratitude, Build Community
