Social Media Manager

Rooms To Go is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our social media and influencer marketing team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all Rooms To Go social media channels for Rooms To Go, Rooms To Go Kids, and Rooms To Go Patio.

Our ideal candidate is a creative, collaborative, and organized home decor enthusiast who lives, breathes, and LOVES social! This person often finds themselves saying 'I saw this on TikTok' or uses Instagram's collections feature to save inspirational posts and will take initiative to bring trends to life!

We're looking for someone who is experienced in managing brand social media accounts, along with a passion for content creation. You'll have experience growing social channels organically through audience engagement and the development of channel specific content.

This person will have experience creating and executing social media campaigns from start to finish through thoughtful creative briefs and collaboration with internal teams. In addition to working with the social media and influencer marketing team, this role will work closely with the paid media, creative, content, SEO, eCommerce, broadcast, and app groups.

Responsibilities:Build and maintain the brand's social media presenceAct as the primary publisher for all Rooms To Go branded social accountsManage and execute overarching social media channel content strategiesDevelop and maintain the brand content calendar for all Rooms To Go social channelsWrite, edit and proofread social copy to ensure social content aligns across digital platformsPartner with internal creative and content teams to develop engaging campaignsServe as lead content creator for social media channels, creating static and video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Threads, X, and LinkedInUse social media management tools to handle all content publishingPartner with the Customer Care team on community management across all social media channels, acting as the voice of the brandManage User Generated Content platformSet and track KPIs for social media campaignsAnalyze content and develop regular reporting for channel and campaign performanceManage relationships with external partners and agenciesIdentify opportunities for the paid media team to amplify contentWork with the influencer team on social channel contentKnowledge and Skills

Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, digital media, or similar field5+ years of professional experience developing content for branded social accountsExperience in social content creation including photography, video, and photo editingPrevious use of social media management tools and platformsExcellent copywriting and communication skillsExperience in Adobe Creative suite, in-app editing (TikTok, Reels), or editing software (Canva or similar)Working knowledge of creative production processDirectly and/or dotted line managed junior team membersUp to date on the latest social media and customer trendsMust have a keen eye for detail and design - develop content that aligns with brand guidelinesSelf-starter with the ability to work cross-departmentally in a fast-paced environmentAbout Rooms To Go:
