Compensation: Starting $25.50 per hour plus bonus opportunityManages assigned geographic area and shows solid results from community outreach, presentations, and outreach in the growth in the number of referrals.Performs community education, liaison and outreach activities with referral sources to ensure on-going awareness of agency's services.Constantly expands the referral sources and prospects.Assists in providing general information to patients and families.Conduct sales calls and evaluate results and effectiveness of sales activity.Support business development activities and help establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.Submits daily and weekly call reports. Submits monthly report to Marketing Director.Development and management of data for the agency contacts and outreach efforts.Participates in all required in service education programs and meetings.Demonstrates a commitment to own work schedule by adhering to attendance standards. Provides proper notification in advance for absence and tardiness.Adheres to employment policies in accordance with the Employee HandbookDemonstrates compliance with the dress code policy by appearing well groomed, wearing ID badge while on duty and maintaining a professional appearance.Performs other duties as assigned.Position Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong presentation and public speaking ability to engage varied audiences.Highly motivated, results driven, and able to develop and build strong, lasting referral relationshipsEvidence of achieving referral goals within the marketEstablished healthcare contacts and ability to readily network in the communityExcellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with existing and potential referral sources in person, via phone, digitally and in writing.Self-starter who can work independently to identify potential referrals sources and develop plans to educate and engage same.

Ability and initiative to develop new creative and engaging ways to expand the organization's outreach in various markets.Ability to clearly articulate the organization's hospice and palliative care services.Knowledge of appropriate software that will enhance the development and management of data for the agency contacts and outreach efforts including Trella Health, nDoc, and Social Media platformsKnowledge of administrative office procedures, including letter composition, the completion of forms, and documentation.Ability to comprehend the spoken and written English language, to communicate with clarity both verbally and in writing.Well organized to manage time and prioritize workload.Proficiency in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and other software as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Required Education:

High School diploma or equivalent, plus applicable experience.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's degree in business, communications or marketing or other related area of study.

Required Experience:

Knowledge of hospice industry, including regulations and marketing trends. One year's recent sales experience in the healthcare industry.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in marketing healthcare services. Proven Experience in building relationships and increasing hospice referrals
