Hiring Range:$59,652-79,536 annually

North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is seeking a Statewide Interoperability Radio Network Administrator (SIRN) for our Technology Division.

Summary of Work

As the primary administrator for the Statewide Interoperable Radio Network (SIRN), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination among first responders and stakeholders across North Dakota.

In this role you will:

Be the primary customer and vendor point of contact for day-to-day activities of the Statewide Interoperable Radio Network (SIRN).Consult with NDIT stake holders, vendors, and project managers regarding downtime and upgrades.Manage the SIRN fleet map and coordinate fleet map changes amongst users, vendors, and NDIT staff.Manage and fulfill Open Records Requests in compliance with North Dakota Open Records laws and procedures.Coordinate meetings and activities of SIRN related workgroupsParticipate in SIRN transition planning and activities as users migrate from legacy systems to SIRN

The right candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and thrive in a collaborative environment. They will have a customer first mentality and be prepared to work closely with different groups of stakeholders. The SIRN Administrator must be comfortable organizing and running meetings and have a strong background in technology and administrative systems.

Occasional in-state travel is required for this role, to include overnights as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for the SIRN Admin role, you must have:

An associate degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Public Policy, Business Administration)and 2 years of current and progressive work experience in a highly collaborative, admin focused role.

OR

3 years of current and progressive work experience as listed above.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the usage of Land Mobile Radio Systems for public safety.

Experience with State of North Dakota Open Records laws and procedures.

Familiarity with the North Dakota first responder community.
