Our client based in Fort Worth, TX is looking for an Event Planner who is flexible to travel to offsite events, both domestic and international.The Event Planner specializes in planning and executing a wide range of business and family events, from corporate parties to philanthropic charity events and high-profile family celebrations. The organization is looking for someone who is dedicated to delivering exceptional event experiences.The primary role of the Event Planner is to plan and coordinate all aspects of business and family events, including company parties, philanthropic charity events, high-profile family celebrations, and others as determined. The Event Planner will work closely with family members and other corporate team members to maximize event success and ensure a memorable experience for attendees.Schedule: There is some flexibility here but full time Monday through Friday is anticipated. There will be give and take for weekend events. For instance if the Event Planner needed to work all day on a Saturday for an invite they would get a compensating day off during the week.Responsibilities:Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines for each event.Select venues both domestically and abroad, considering logistics, hotel accommodations, and travel arrangements.Coordinate all aspects of the event theme, including décor, catering, menu selection, and bar-related decisions.Manage the invitation list, create invitations, and handle seating arrangements.Organize gifts, party favors, and giveaways for attendees.Select and manage vendors, including staff, for each event.Provide monthly executive summaries with progress reports and interim communications for all events.Maintain a calendar of events and schedules for all individuals involved in the event planning process.Requirements:Bachelors degree requiredEvent planning certification is preferred, such as CSEP (Certified Special Events Professional), ILEA (Live Event), or CMP (Meeting Planning).Proven experience in event planning and coordination, with strong project management skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Flexibility to travel as needed for event planning and execution.Compensation:Competitive salary based on experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.Opportunities for professional development and advancement.Collaborative and supportive work environment.
