About the role
We are looking for a UX designer with 5 years of PROVEN HANDS-ON experience to join our team and help us create engaging, user-friendly, and accessible digital experiences.You will be responsible for conducting user research, creating user personas, designing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups, and testing and iterating on your solutions.You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand the user needs, business goals, and technical constraints, and to deliver solutions that meet or exceed them.You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system, guidelines, and best practices.Requirements
A bachelor's degree in UX design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.5 years of proven HANDS-ON experience as a UX designer, working on web and mobile applications.A portfolio of UX design projects that demonstrate your skills and process required.Proven proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar required.Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis.Knowledge of UX design principles, methods, and best practices, such as user-centered design, accessibility, and responsive design.Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/React/Angular) to effectively communicate with developersExcellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.A passion for solving complex problems and creating delightful user experiences.Experience working in an Agile development process is a plus.Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual's skill sets, experience and training;licensure and certification requirements;office location and other geographic considerations;other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
