About Your Role:

As the SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy to enhance our organic search visibility and drive traffic to our digital properties. Reporting to the VP Marketing, you will be the primary internal SEO specialist working to optimize our website content, improve search engine rankings, and increase organic traffic across all K12 focused properties.

Summary:

The SEO Specialist will oversee all aspects of search engine optimization, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link-building strategies. You will work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure that our SEO efforts align with overall business goals and deliver measurable results.

Essential Functions:

Develop and implement a robust SEO strategy to improve organic search visibility and traffic.Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and new content creation.Oversee on-page and technical SEO efforts, ensuring best practices are followed across our digital properties.Collaborate with the content team to optimize existing content and develop SEO-friendly new content.Manage link-building campaigns to increase domain authority and improve search rankings.Use analytics tools to monitor and report on SEO performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.Coordinate efforts with internal and external seo specialists.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic search performance.Strong knowledge of SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Heap, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, etc).Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

We anticipate the salary range to be $57,519.75 to $121,792.80. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
