Ashley Hall, South Carolina's only independent private school serving kindergarten through twelfth grade girls, with a coeducational preschool, seeks an experienced social media marketer and photographer to strengthen the School's brand and growing social media presence in the independent school marketplace. Prior professional experience in social media or digital marketing management is a requirement.

Qualified candidate with 3-5 years of experience in social media marketingSkilled photographer with a strong eye for photography composition. Photos are used in both digital and print platforms. The social media strategist/photographer is a critical member of the Ashley Hall Marketing & Communications Team. This person is a skilled and results-driven professional who coordinates and manages all social media content creation for Ashley Hall assisting the School in reaching specific marketing and advancement (admission and fundraising) goals including engagement and conversion. The strategist will play a pivotal role in advancing the School's mission and value propositions via social media messaging with prospective and current parents, students, faculty, alumnae, and donors. This person also has strong photography skills and is able to capture engaging photos that reflect a vibrant campus community. Ideal candidates for this position should be collaborative, innovative, and digitally savvy. Ultimately, this position will be responsible for driving highly effective social media campaigns and creating a robust photography archive for the School.

What You'll Do:

Write, edit, and manage content across all of Ashley Hall's department-specific social media accounts. This includes the School's main Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages as well as serve as a collaborating partner on alumnae Instagram and Facebook platforms.Collaborate with numerous stakeholders on campus in generating thoughtful and strategic social media content. This will have you attending classroom activities, assemblies, field trips, and numerous arts events as the department's social media representative in order to storytell important campus events.Manage a strategic social media calendar using tools such as HootSuite to ensure each platform/division has appropriate content supportEngage with Ashley Hall social followers across all platformsUtilize strong photography skills, including editing, in order to capture dynamic, engaging, and shareable content on Facebook and InstagramLeverage custom video content across all Ashley Hall's social channels. Video strategy includes partnering with a professional videographer for larger campaigns as well as capturing content for smaller video projects.Monitor and analyze social media user data to share with leadership in order to make more informed decisionsKeep up with social media trends

Ashley Hall will provide a high-end camera with video capability and editing software.
