Who We Are Looking For :

NAMI Chicago is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to execute our marketing initiatives. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that increase awareness of our programs and services, engage our community, and drive fundraising efforts. This role requires a creative and critical thinker with strong organizational skills and a passion for mental health advocacy.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, strong writing and graphic design skills, and the ability to work independently in a growing environment. Importantly, our ideal candidate is passionate about mental health and committed to increasing awareness of mental health resources and support in the Chicagoland area.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities :Implement marketing strategies that align with NAMI Chicago's mission, goals, and objectives. Create detailed marketing plans to promote our programs, events, and campaigns.Create and manage content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, website, and print materials. Ensure that all content reflects the organization's voice and messaging.Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, website, and email marketing. Utilize analytics to track performance and adjust strategies as needed.Coordinate marketing efforts for fundraising events, community outreach, and awareness campaigns. Collaborate with event coordinators to develop promotional materials and strategies.Maintain and enhance the organization's brand identity across all marketing channels. Ensure consistency in messaging and visual elements.Analyze marketing metrics and provide regular reports on the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies. Use data to inform decision-making and improve future efforts.Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, media, and influencers to support collaborative marketing initiatives and broaden outreach.Essential Skills and Abilities :

Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of basic marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.Digital Marketing: Proficiency in digital marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, SEO, and SEM.Content Creation: Ability to create engaging content for marketing campaigns, including social media posts, blog articles, and email newsletters.Market Research: Conducting market research to analyze trends, competitors, and customer behavior.Analytics: Ability to analyze marketing data and metrics to evaluate campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.Creativity: Thinking creatively to develop innovative marketing ideas and campaigns.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey messages to target audiences.Organization: Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Teamwork: Collaborating with other team members and departments to achieve marketing goals.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.Attention to Detail: Paying attention to detail to ensure accuracy in marketing materials and campaigns.Tech Savvy: Comfortable using various marketing tools and software.Customer Focus: Understanding customer needs and preferences to develop targeted marketing campaigns.Budget Management: Understanding of basic budgeting principles and ability to manage marketing budgets effectively.Computer Skills: Proficiency Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word. Proficiency in Internet Explorer, Outlook/Exchange; Windows operating systems; and other software routinely used by NAMI ChicagoRequirements

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in marketing is a plus.Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing, nonprofit marketing or mental health experience is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and strategies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in graphic design tools, website management systems, and Microsoft Office.Strong organizational and project management skills.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.Available Benefits :
