Position Summary

The Digital Advertising Specialist is part of the sales support team and leads the Digital Marketing function in providing fulfillment, reporting and analysis for marketing campaigns. This role defines objectives, priorities and deadlines required to meet short term goals.

Core Position Responsibilities

Leads the digital marketing function through complex projects and initiatives.Develops, executes and leads the digital marketing strategy for a division.Develops and maintains advanced stakeholder relationships and serves as an experienced advisor to leadership and clients on digital marketing strategy topics.Participates in cross-functional meetings, bringing a more specialized digital advertisingProvides ideation for increasing client brand awareness and engagement across a variety of marketing platforms through content development and distributionDevelops digital marketing collateral, including case studies, proposals, RFP responses, and talking points for sales opportunities.Conducts market research to identify current trends and opportunities for expansionDevelop case studies and actively share written and verbal summaries of campaign performance and other insights.Serve as the internal and client resource for digital marketing strategy and actively identify new advertising opportunities that fit client needs.Provide copywriting and web design/maintenance for a variety of internal and client projects.Schedule/implement, manage and optimize social media and digital marketing campaignsDevelop campaign performance reports and track when adjustments need to occur to meet campaign impressions.Oversee social media accounts for various division entities.Provide digital support for news staff.Other duties as assigned .

Position Skills/Requirements

A bachelor's degree in advertising or closely related field.4+ years of experience in digital advertising.Strong written and verbal communications skillsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Experience with programmatic display, paid social, and/or paid search.Must be familiar with the business applications of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and more.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft OfficeSome experience developing ad graphics, editing video and audio.Excellent grasp of digital and social media advertising principalsSolid knowledge of marketing research, statistical analysis, and ability to compute basic media math.Proficiency in web design and knowledge of WordPress web hosting platform
