Our client in Southeastern MA is seeking an onsite direct hire experienced Fire Protection Designer. The Fire Protection Designer will our client's fire protection design team and contribute to the expansion of their fire protection capabilities.
To be considered, you must have:At least 5 years of Fire Protection design experience, demonstrating proficiency in NFPA requirements, IBC codes, and various fire protection design approachesExperienced and proficient with SprinkCAD softwareAn ability to identify commodity, construction, and hazard types and classifications relative to sprinkler designKnowledge of fire protection materials, equipment, and fire protection submittal processMotivated, and possessing a positive mindset and attitudeStrong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsSolid critical thinking and problem solving skillsWillingness / ability to travel ~100 miles radius of client / prospect baseAny of the following are strong nice to haves:
Revit experienceFire Protection Engineering degreeSprinkler Journeyman / Contractor licensing and / or field experienceNICET, NFPA CertificationsFire protection sales or project management experience
