About the PositionGBU/ Therapeutic Areas CommunicationsAssociate Director: Neuroscience Pipeline Communications50% remote working; limited travel expected.Job type: Permanent, Full timeSanofi is looking for a proactive, high-energy Associate Director of neuroscience pipeline communications to support strategy and execution of our global neurology communications programs designed to prepare global markets for multiple launches.

This role includes strategic development and execution of clinical data and regulatory milestones; congress and publication communications; scientific platform communications for lay audiences; unbranded awareness campaigns; and executive thought leadership campaigns.

The position will report to the Global Head of Neurology Communications and will be based at one of our key US sites (Cambridge, Massachusetts; Bridgewater, New Jersey or Washington D.C.).

Responsibilities include:

Develop and manage comprehensive global external communications strategy that advances business goals for the franchise; Support internal communications priorities, as neededDirect and deliver effective thought leadership communicationsPartner closely with Patient Experience and Public Affairs on development and execution of global unbranded disease state education campaignsUnderstand the competitive landscape and ensure strategic positioning for the brandWork closely with the Heads of Communications and partners across functions to ensure alignment with global strategies (commercial, medical, market access, communications, HEOR, R&D, etc.)Work in alignment with Global Media Relations and Investor Relations to ensure development of impactful external communications relating to the neuroscience pipelineWork with priority and international markets to ensure the successful execution of the global brand communications strategy while ensuring support for local communications tacticsOversee day-to-day management of communications agencies, including budget oversightAbility to think creatively and strategically to develop awareness campaigns and mobilize actionDesired Skill Sets:

The Associate Director for Neuroscience Pipeline Communications is a strategic, motivated, and experienced communications leader.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or a related scientific field is requiredA minimum of 8-10 years of corporate communications experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology area is required (product communications, agency experience preferred)Experience in pharmaceutical product areas is requiredAbility to travel 20% overallAll global communications are in English language, so this role requires fluent English language writing skillsWhy Choose Us?

The salary range for this position is $111,750 - $149,000 USD Annual. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
