PSI is uniquely qualified to perform all facets of architectural and engineering, facility, business, and administrative services. With over 25 years of growth and success, we are currently seeking a second proposal writer for our BD team.The proposal writer produces professionally written, customer-focused, persuasive, technical proposal content within a dynamic, deadline-driven business environment. This individual is responsible for translating technical approaches and win strategies into high-quality content that aligns with the client's requirements, terminology, and expectations. This position requires someone who is an exceptional writer and communicator with the ability to create proposal content by first understanding and outlining client requirements and then interviewing subject matter experts to draft original content or tailor existing materials to ensure content is compliant, accurate, and promotes competitive differentials and advantages of PSI.Requirements:Assist in writing, editing, and formatting technical proposals and related documents.Conduct research to gather relevant information and data to support proposal content.Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy and consistency of proposal content.Organize and maintain proposal documentation and files.Review and revise documents for clarity, grammar, and adherence to company standards.Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical information.Assist in the development of proposal templates and standardized content.Support the proposal team with administrative tasks as needed.Ensure timely submission of proposals and adherence to deadlines.Develops proposals by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation; writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials.Work with project team members to create capability profiles, proposal resumes, charts and graphs as needed.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Excellent project management skills with a high attention to detail and strong proofreading skillsStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to work independently and as a team memberEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, with stress on articulating and writingComputer literacy - proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat with the ability to grasp other software applications required to perform job dutiesHigh ethical standards, positive attitude and sense of humor.Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:Bachelors in a technical field or work experience equivalent in a technical writing positionUnderstanding of government procurement terms is preferred but not required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work autonomously as well as take direction as needed.Strong technical skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF Pro.Highly motivated and capable of seeing projects through from beginning to end.Basic understanding of technical concepts and ability to quickly learn new information.This is not a remote position. This is a Monday-Friday position that operates during regular business hours in the Rapid City, SD home office.
