The Marketing and Communications Manager will be a key part of this team - developing marketing strategy and opportunities, organizing print and digital marketing and advertising schedules, gathering and developing engaging content for written, digital, visual and informational materials, (including all social media channels), for both internal and external audiences.

Editing and maintaining content on the website and school portals is also a part of the role, with full training offered.

Skills and knowledge to enhance the AIS presence across multi media platforms including social media, digital & print advertising, listings, print products, newsletters, radio, video and web-based contentAbility to write for and use content management platforms confidentlyAbility to/learn how to edit and maintain the school website and portalsHave or be willing to develop a good understanding of communications performance metrics and 'return on investment' measurement toolsExcellent interpersonal skills - to build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders e.g. school leadership, parents, faculty, staff, students, external suppliers and press contactsWillingness and or experience of media engagement - to promote editorial content and build relationshipsAppreciation of the school's diverse, inclusive international community, our mission and core values, as well as an understanding of the dynamics of Atlanta.Willingness to learn and develop professionallyExcellent organizational skillsAbility to pivot and multitask in a fast paced environment, whilst maintaining excellent relationships and a positive attitudeAbility to work independently and collaboratively to deliver team targetsJob Responsibilities:

Create, manage and organize existing and new marketing, advertising and sponsorship opportunitiesBuild key market analysis and targeting plansProactively seek out and recommend marketing opportunities - in particular to support Advancement and Admission campaignsProactively seek out and deliver content, engaging and connecting with the employee communityAssist in the maintenance, development and editing of school information - including the website and portals (training provided)Create social media posts, that raise the school's profile and promote the brand - with prospective families, current families and our internal audiencesAssist in media liaison to develop editorial opportunitiesProduce regular internal reports from communications analytics and trendsDevelop written materials - news stories, press releases, advertising/advertorial content, blog posts, web copy etc.Assist in creating simple visual content for school materials and channels - e.g. slide decks, display materialsHelp maintain a consistent and engaging AIS 'voice' that is recognizable across different audienceAssist in the application and development of school-wide use of the AIS Brand guidelines.Participate in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and professional organizationsAssist in with finance management - following AIS Business Office processesAssist with information management for Marketing and Communications teamLearn how to operate all external AIS communications platforms, including out of hours emergency procedures.Be willing to occasionally work outside regular office hours for specified community events and circumstances. This is an in-person position.Experience/Qualifications:

2-3 years of relevant employment/experience or recent college-level qualification in related subjectsExperience in prioritizing multiple tasks and pivoting when necessaryHave or develop understanding of K-12 academics, including the International Baccalaureate.Have or develop good understanding of the private and boarding school landscape in Atlanta/globallyA knowledge of and/or willingness to learn how to use the following software
