Position: Associate Director, Biologics MarketingOverviewThe role of Associate Director for Biologics Marketing requires a highly motivated and resourceful individual who has solid marketing acumen and leadership behaviors necessary to deliver brand strategic imperatives.

Demonstrated success in health care professional (HCP) and patient marketing within dermatology/immunology/rheumatology as well as Biologics is REQUIRED.The Associate Director of Marketing is a team leader recognized for their ability to influence matrix team members and manage multiple agencies for the successful development and execution of both HCP and patient promotion plans. Experience with budget management, samples management, forecasting, quarterly business reviews, and life cycle management are expected.

Effective cross-matrix team collaboration with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access and the Insights and Analytic teams are a requirement. Highly talented, professional individuals who do not take themselves too seriously, integrate well within teams, and have a sense of humor are preferred.ResponsibilitiesLead annual brand and budget planSupport annual forecast process and monthly performance updates

Lead annual manufacturing forecast process for product and track monthly performance against forecast

Support evolution of the brand strategy and life cycle management opportunities to continue to build the relevance of the brand by addressing unmet needs in identified diseasesUpdate message platform across customers as new data become available and ensure consistency of brand story across customersCreate and execute personal and non-personal promotion consistent with brand strategic imperatives and brand storyPartner with Digital Center of Excellence to develop as well as ensure all brand digital strategies are optimizedLead, manage and integrate agencies into the marketing team to ensure project work is consistent with brand strategy and differentiatedCollaboratively lead review of promotion with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory Review team to arrive at compliant, effective promotionPartner with business analytics in the development of primary research, assessment of secondary research and competitive analyses; translate research and data into actionable

insightsAlign with business partners and agencies on measurement plans to understand ROI and performance against KPIsWork closely with Professional Relations in developing and maintaining KOL relationshipsRepresent Sun and brand with patient and professional societies and advocacy organizationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus5-7 years of pharmaceutical and or life sciences marketing experience; additional pharmaceutical experience in sales, medical affairs, and market access a plus

Experience with marketing and/or selling biologics within at least two of the following disease areas is

REQUIRED : dermatology, immunology, rheumatology

Brand marketing experience with HCPs and patients in the US

Experience in developing product strategy and tactical plans aligned to brand vision, positioning and messagingExperience with digital, media marketing, CRM and other programs to build high “engage and act” customer journeysLaunch experience desirable

Recognized ability to influence matrix team members to deliver brand objectivesEffective management of multiple agencies for both HCP and patient promotion plansExperience managing brand overall budget and agency specific budgetsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlinesExceptional oral and written communication skills.
