Product Marketing Manager

to lead a team in profitably growing our consumer products category. You'll enhance existing product profitability and develop new products, using your industry experience and customer insights. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical expertise, visionary thinking, and a drive to execute. A passion for market research and innovative problem-solving is essential.

RequirementsWe are searching for a candidate with:• Four (4) year bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or other related field, or 7-10 years of product management experience• Strong PC aptitude required, specifically in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)• Product line analytical skills (i.e. profit / loss)• Strategic, technical, and creative competency• This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites in North America• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills• Experience in Product Line Review ownership and management.• Ability to operate with high sense of urgency and personal initiative and respond to multiple deadlines while maintaining good coordination and communication with colleagues and staff.• Ability to read technical material and develop analysis and recommendations.• Interact with sales and technical personnel as well as key customers.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesA typical day may include:• Manage P&L for Product Line: Oversee profit and loss to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.• Optimize Product Portfolio: Improve performance by addressing or eliminating underperforming SKUs.• Product Development Lifecycle: Engage in all stages, from analysis and design to testing, integration, and market introduction.• Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct customer research and analyze market trends and competitive information to find new product opportunities and optimize existing ones for various channels.• Develop Product Plans: Create strategic plans for launching new products.• Project Prioritization: Allocate resources effectively by prioritizing development projects based on their business value.• Business Case Generation: Formulate comprehensive business cases, including market size, growth potential, competitive analysis, and unit forecasts with pricing strategy.• Design Guides Creation: Develop design guides that capture essential customer requirements.• Cross-functional Team Management: Lead project teams from Channel, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement new product development plans.• Product Roadmap Development: Create product roadmaps in alignment with the Corporate Strategic Plan.• Pricing Strategy Development: Formulate pricing strategies for both new and existing products and programs to maximize profitability.
