The Royal Caribbean Group's Royal Caribbean International brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full AE, Brand PR Content & Communications reporting to the Marketing team.

This position will be working on-site from Miami, Florida.

Position Summary:

A company's reputation is critical as are the professionals behind creating and maintaining it. This important, strategic role is for motivated professionals interested in contributing to the implementation of impactful public relations programs that are designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for the world's largest cruise line. Royal Caribbean International's Account Executive of Brand PR Content and Written Communications should be a dedicated communications and public relations professional skilled in editorial and public relations writing, capable of assisting in projects, project teams and the creation of high-caliber content. The team member may focus on several professional areas and activity, including written communications, brand communications, public relations, speechwriting, storytelling, content creation, agency relations and event support and staffing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support the development of written communications, such as press releases, executive communications (internal and external letters, speeches, etc.) and media statements.Support the development of other brand and communication assets as needed.Assist in executing strategies to create impactful global content for Royal Caribbean International, subject matter experts, products & services, and events.Contribute to content creation and editing, and independently develop and execute innovative content strategies that support business priorities and media relations efforts.Support Royal Caribbean's official blog, SeaViews, by contributing to story ideation, editing, maintaining an editorial calendar, collaborating on site enhancements, and helping to ensure all content is aligned with overall media, marketing strategies and messaging.Assist in updating and maintaining the company's online press center and creation of related content.Help to direct the activities of external agencies and internal teams as needed.Contribute to reviewing analytics on content performance to help form actionable insights and learnings for future content recommendations/improvements.Foster productive professional relationships with internal stakeholders to collaborate on opportunities that support company initiatives.Stay abreast of the latest developments, trends and shifts in travel, the cruise industry and content.Occasional travel.Performs other duties as required. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent, directly related experience required3-5 years of PR agency, public relations, journalism or corporate communications experienceHighly skilled in writing and crafting communications for public relations purposes (press releases, etc.) and executive-level speechwriting. Story narrative, editorial content and message creation experience is a plusAbility to think creatively and outside of the proverbial boxFlexibility to work outside normal hours and travel as appropriate (domestic & international)Experience in travel industry and working for a global company ideal but not essentialStrong ability to interact with senior leaders and build effective relationships within the company, agency partners, public, guests and mediaStrong planning capabilities to identify and prioritize communication strategies and activities as well as to meet the deadlines required to support communications and business needsExcellent research, verbal and presentation skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environmentGoal-oriented and action-focused, practical, and self-disciplinedAbility to assist in coordinating projects and participate in cross-functional teamsEffortlessly organized self-motivatorExcellent relationship builder ¿ ability to create, foster and leverage relationships to achieve outstanding results.Understanding of social media, influencers, emerging media and content trendsStrong project management, planning, evaluation, and analytical capabilitiesExperience with organizing and maintaining project management tools is a plusUnderstanding of blogging and content management systems, such as WordPress, a plusAbility to evaluate and provide constructive feedback in a timely mannerDemonstrate the ability to quickly analyze situations and alternatives and make prudent decisions.Finger on the pulse - always up to date with trends, both inside and outside the cruise industryComputer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email).Outstanding English language proficiency.Proficiency in Spanish desirable.
