The Associate Audio Designer assists in the creation, design, and implementation of aspects of the audio experience for Sight & Sound according to the Audio Designer’s direction.

Please note: this position requires being onsite/on property at our Lancaster, PA location and is not available for remote employment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Participate in designing, maintaining, and editing of audio material for new and existing Sight & Sound Ministries, Inc. efforts as directed by the Audio Designer.Collaborate with Show Build and Show Design departments as it relates to the content and status of audio projects.Support in creating, maintaining, and organizing effective management of all audio assets and resources.Provide support in the recording and building of scratch track material for new and existing productions as directed by the Audio Designer.Attend and critique rehearsals for audio quality.Provide support in the creative review of composer created demos as directed by the Audio Designer.Prerequisites:

Strong communication skills; ability to engage with multiple departments, roles, and personalitiesAbility to tailor working style and flexibility depending on the projectAbility to shift between global and local perspectives and tasksAbility to steward multiple projects with strict deadlinesExpertise in digital, multi-track, non-linear audio editing and how it applies to multiple theater and media outletsExperience in sound design/effects preferredExperience in musical composition and/or production preferredWilling to travel throughout the year to Branson and other conferences and events
