Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, with a proven track record of successfully managing client accounts and driving media coverage. The Senior Account Executive will work closely with our team of PR professionals to develop and execute creative and strategic campaigns that align with our clients' goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop and implement strategic PR plans that align with clients' business objectives
- Proactively pitch and secure media coverage in top-tier outlets, including print, broadcast, and online
- Monitor media coverage and provide regular updates and reports to clients
- Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support on client projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, social media, and creative, to develop integrated campaigns
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and provide strategic recommendations to clients
- Attend client meetings and presentations, providing strategic insights and recommendations
- Assist in new business development efforts, including proposal writing and pitching to potential clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably in an agency setting
- Strong media relations skills, with a proven track record of securing coverage in top-tier outlets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop impactful PR campaigns
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and media contacts
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR software tools
- Experience in crisis management is a plus
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
