Ankrom Moisan Architects is seeking a visionary Healthcare Studio Leader to join our team in Portland or Seattle.

ABOUT THE JOBThe ideal Healthcare Studio Leader at Ankrom Moisan demonstrates a strategic and visionary approach to growing the Healthcare studio and leading/developing a high-performing team. You will partner with our Interior Design co-leader to lead a dynamic and engaged team. You possess exceptional communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Based in Portland or Seattle, you'll drive innovation, sustainability, and design excellence in healthcare projects. With 15+ years of experience and a strong established network in the healthcare industry, you'll develop client relationships, oversee project performance, and mentor a collaborative team. YOU WILL...

Further the studio's commitment to transdisciplinary design approach by working closely with our Seattle based Studio Co-Leader of Healthcare, in all aspects of the studio leadership role.Champion design excellence and exceptional project delivery through regular design reviews to ensure projects align with firm standards while providing the highest value for our clients.Cultivate client relationships with healthcare providers to discuss project progress and proactively address concerns.Establish and execute annual business goals, strategies, and tactics in collaboration with other leaders.Spearhead and drive business development with the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities to expand the studio's portfolio.Oversee the financial health of studio projects by monitoring and analyzing studio financial metrics, ensuring they remain within budget and on schedule.Provide studio leadership and direction for all ongoing projects, supporting project leaders to achieve excellence across all our offices.Review projects with team members to ensure efficient, profitable and high-quality project performance.Lead quarterly performance reviews, setting clear goals and providing constructive feedback to team members.Ensure optimal staffing and resource allocation to meet and exceed project demands.Provide regular mentorship to staff, fostering their professional growth and leadership capabilities.Co-lead the annual strategic planning sessions to set ambitious and achievable studio goals and objectives.Represent the firm at industry networking events to maintain and expand client and industry relationships.Champion the implementation and tracking of sustainability initiatives within studio projects.Lead the research and integration of the latest trends and innovations into studio projects.Foster collaboration with other studio leaders and regional office leaders to share insights and best practices.Attend industry events, business development events, interviews, and client meetings.WHAT YOU BRING TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in architectureLicensed architect with current NCARB certification15+ years of experience in healthcare projectsStrong established network with healthcare providers and industry leadersDeep understanding of building, zoning, FGI, DOH, Energy Codes, ADA, and other regulatory requirements.Experienced in proposal writing and contract negotiations with clients and healthcare institutions.Experience with collaborative design processes, integrating architecture and interior design from project inception.Expertise with complex multi-phased healthcare projects.WHAT WE OFFER:
