Our entertainment streaming client is looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager to join the Engagement Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing marketing data and providing actionable insights to define cross-channel strategies that drive increased engagement and reduce churn for streaming subscribers. They will support the automation of email campaigns, provide analytics support for automation/adhoc communication for the central analytics team, and liaise with the marketing analytics team digital marketing and retention/engagement analytics requests. The Marketing Analytics Manager report to the Director of Engagement Marketing and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support lifecycle marketing and editorial engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

* Work cross-functionally with data and analytics teams to maintain and develop self-service tools used to track key marketing metrics, campaign performance, and ROI.

* Support day-to-day engagement team analytics needs including exploratory analyses, advanced reporting, and ongoing monitoring of program performance.

* Analyze marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform and optimize marketing strategies across all channels (email, push & in-app) and stages of lifecycle.

* Conduct cohort and segmentation analyses and partner with data science teams on predictive modeling to understand customer lifecycle stages and inform model validation & optimization.

* Partner closely with marketing, data analytics, and data science to develop and communicate a clear learning agenda / experimentation roadmap

* Evangelize experimentation best practices across the lifecycle marketing organization by ensuring proper test design and implementation, prioritization of opportunities, and identifying actionable next steps based on findings

* Provide recommendations for improving campaign effectiveness, targeting, messaging, and creative elements.

* Develop a deep understanding of audience capabilities and attribute definitions to support marketing and operations teams in delivering accurate and reliable messaging to our subscribers

* Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing analytics

Onsite in Manhattan office Tuesday-Thursday

* 1-3 years of experience leading other analysts and managing a team.

* Expert in Excel, Google sheets, segmentation analytics

* Strong SQL expertise: ability to manipulate large data sets, interpret data trends, and use a multitude of disparate data sources with SQL.

* Hands on knowledge/experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker (Tableau ad testing)

* Deep experience with A/B testing from design to interpretation of results and identifying actionable next steps.

* Highly skilled at simplifying complex problems, distilling data, and constructing compelling narratives to guide decision-making.

* Strong relationship building and communication skills with all levels of the organization.
