Senior Technical Director

for our

Denver

office. The following locations will also be considered:

Phoenix, AZ; Salt Lake City, UT . Be involved in projects with our

Advisory Services, Demand Modeling

Your Impact

Participate in regional and national opportunities to support projects in transportation, water, environment and other industries.

Apply rigorous data science and demand modeling principles to offer insights that help shape public policy and programs.

Create solutions to help transform cities and communities.

Conduct statistical analyses of travel survey and passively collected transportation data.

Analyze land use and demand data.

Lead data analysis for grant applications and demand modeling and planning projects.

Design, estimate, validate and apply demand models.

Mentor, train and provide technical guidance to staff.

Manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Participate in business and professional development activities that shine a light on WSP’s expertise and skillsets.

Build a portfolio of clients based on your technical expertise.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree or Higher in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Data Science, Urban Planning, Economics, Geography or related field.

20-25 years' proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and projects.

Proficiency with demand modeling software (TransCAD, CUBE, EMME, and/or VISUM).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Grant and/or Proposal Writing.

Experience leading travel demand modeling and/or transportation planning teams.

Compensation:

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $175,000 - $185,000.

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
