Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.The Director of Product and Ecosystem Marketing at SDF will lead the strategic direction and execution of product marketing initiatives to drive adoption and growth of the Stellar network, as well as enabling and supporting the marketing activities of companies which have built on Stellar by issuing marketing grants from the Stellar User Acquisition Fund . This role requires a strategic leader who can bridge the gap between product and marketing to effectively communicate the value propositions of Stellar. The Director of Product Marketing (and their current team) will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Partnerships and other teams within Marketing, to craft compelling narratives and go-to-market strategies that resonate with target audiences.In this role, you will:Develop and lead the product marketing strategy for the Stellar network and SDF’s products and solutions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market opportunities.Play a vital, contributing role in SDF’s overall marketing strategy and planning efforts.Manage and grow a team of product marketers, ensuring their engagement and strong cross-functional collaborationLead the design and execution of comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates, including market analysis, positioning and messaging.Drive market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, ecosystem needs, and opportunities to inform product development, marketing and communication strategies.Oversee creation of compelling and differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences, including developers, entrepreneurs and enterprise businesses.Manage the team’s creation of high-quality marketing materials, including case studies (written, video), blog posts, website content, presentations, content for industry events and collateral.Identify trends, opportunities for testing, and measure results. Report campaign findings and make recommendations for optimization.Own and oversee SDF’s Marketing Grant program, including identifying companies in need of marketing support, working with ecosystem companies directly to determine/assess their internal marketing capabilities, pitching and gaining approval of marketing grants within SDF, working with grant recipients to monitor ongoing marketing performance, ensuring the effort is driving meaningful transactions on the Stellar network.Identify key projects in the Stellar ecosystem and create co-marketing plans/strategies to highlight their use cases.You have:8+ years of experience in product marketing, including leading product marketing within an organization.Experience in the web3/blockchain, Fintech and/or B2B spaceProven track record of leading, mentoring and growing high-performing marketing teams to launch and scale technology productsDemonstrated success in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve business goals.Strong strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing planning.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling narratives and presentations.Market Analytics/Insights: Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to drive data-driven strategy.Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Comprehensive understanding of user journeys and product sales/integration lifecyclesAdaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Passion for Blockchain: Genuine passion for blockchain technology and its potential to transform the financial system.We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $200,000 - $230,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
