Calling all music enthusiasts! MAG, a division of BDS Connected Solutions, is based in NYC and brings over 20 years of experience creating impactful campaigns for the world’s most esteemed brands. Together, we are seeking an energetic and passionate Student Influencer to represent SoundCloud at the University of Georgia campus in Athens, GA! In this role, you will be crucial in increasing SoundCloud's visibility and engagement among your peers by promoting the platform's diverse range of music and its community of ​fans and creators​​.

This part-time role starts August 19th and runs through November 3rd. You will work an average of 11 hours per week in this role, 1 of these hours involving reporting and communication with your Program Manager. To set you up for success, you will complete 8 hours of paid virtual training during the week of 8/12 through 8/16.

Compensation

$26-$27/hour + monthly bonus potential based on program KPI’s

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador for SoundCloud, sharing your passion for music and the platform with fellow students.

Social Media Engagement: Utilize your wide-reaching personal social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.) to create and share engaging content that highlights SoundCloud’s features, artists, and events.

Event Promotion: Promote and participate in grassroots events, demos, and giveaways on campus and within the local community.

Content Creation: Develop creative and authentic content that resonates with the college audience, including posts, stories, and videos that highlight your experience with SoundCloud. Also create weekly playlists to drive traffic to the SoundCloud platform.

Peer Outreach: Engage with student organizations, clubs, and events to spread the word about SoundCloud’s offerings and benefits.

Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from your peers on their experiences with SoundCloud and report insights to the College Student Engagement Specialist to help shape future strategies.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must currently be an enrolled student at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA.

Skills and Attributes: Social Media-Savvy: Active and engaged presence on social media platforms popular with college students.

Passion for Music: Enthusiastic about music and familiar with and a user of SoundCloud’s platform. Extra points if you are a musician/creator​. Should be highly educated on and /or involved in the local music community ​

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Creativity: Ability to create engaging and relatable content.

Networking Skills: Comfortable engaging with peers and student organizations.
