The Associate Creative Director/Art Director is an exciting new role reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Strategy and Creative within the Marketing team. The position will work closely with team members across departments to help establish the creative voice of the brand to enhance brand perception through impactful marketing campaigns, differentiate and strengthen the institution’s reputation, and increase market awareness, preference, and loyalty. This role requires a creative leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field of creative concepting and art direction and is seen as a recognized expert in the advertising field. The candidate should function with a high degree of autonomy and establishes departmental goals and objectives through the coordinated achievements of subordinate staff. Leveraging strategic insights and approaches, the position acts as a creative leader in guiding and forming the foundation for all our creative campaigns and brand marketing. The ideal candidate will apply strategic thinking, conceptual capabilities, strong design sensibilities, and possess a high level of craftsmanship across all media, including video, digital, experiential, social, and print. While managing the accountability and stewardship of subordinates in compliance with departmental and organizational goals and objectives, this position will also work in partnership with an ACD/Copywriter. Additionally, this role requires collaboration with senior leaders, executives, and colleagues across the department (Strategic Marketing, Brand Strategy and Creative, Digital, and Partnerships). The work should evoke an emotional connection to the brand that leads to patient acquisition, staff and student recruitment, development, and ultimately contributes to growth.

Brand Creative

• Concept and produce powerful brand campaigns across major strategic service lines.

• Develop and help build the creative vision, personality, voice and tone for the brand.

• Oversees mid and junior level creatives to deliver breakthrough work to achieve organizational objectives.

• Partners with external agency to help develop the enterprise brand campaign.

• Understand the ecosystem to develop a brand voice system.

• Transform intricate healthcare concepts into emotionally powerful brand marketing that inspires a cohesive vision and mission.

• Establish and manage a robust creative foundation and team for the brand

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Production

• Attend photography and video productions.

• Oversee post production to ensure delivery of high quality creative.

• Ability to retouch images.

Management

• Overses internal creative team members.

• Manage outside vendors such as animators, editors, photographers, illustrators, and designers

• Achieve organizational objectives through the coordinated achievements of subordinate staff.

• Manages the accountability and stewardship of human, financial, and often physical resources in compliance with departmental and organizational goals and objectives.

Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing strategy, digital, content writers, development and the partnership department to understand their business goals and how your creative can solve their needs.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to unify around a cohesive marketing brand vision.

• Engage with members of The School of Medicine to incorporate the academic institution under the brand.

• Partner with social media and AV production to concept, plan and produce highly sticky content that leads to consumer engagement.
