Summary
The UI/UX Designer role is to design custom user interfaces for review and handoff to various development teams to implement via customizations, extensions, configurations, and integrations. The UI/UX Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver best in class user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX designs for suggesting user interfaces that are simple, consistent and easily developed.
This position will support our IT team and is eligible to work a remote schedule.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Exhibit strong development skills, informed by intuitiveness and driven by creativity
Produce wireframes and other collateral to help communicate UI/UX experiences
Create designs that adhere to and complement the existing style guide
Develop UI/UX solutions based on business requirements captured in user stories
Work with other developers and quality experts to deliver a polished final product
Ability to collaborate within an iterative design process including the ability to lead ideation and whiteboarding sessions
Understand the process of turning conceptual ideas into wireframes, designs and web pages
Contribute to roadmap planning and facilitate the user-centered design process
Communicate clear ideas to a wide range of stakeholders
Awareness of ADA and WCAG guidelines as it relates to website accessibility
Additional duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Five (5) years or more of experience designing and delivering UI/UX solutions
Three (3) or more years of experience with agile software development methodologies
Several years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably with a focus on Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
Excellent time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of software development processes and best practices
Able to collaborate effectively and efficiently with remote team members
Able to work independently and adapt to time critical deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Able to step back and see the entire solution with a focus on improving, not just one feature or process, but the entire user experience
Travel Requirements
