DescriptionJoin our team as a 3D Graphics Software Engineer to develop cutting-edge three dimensional graphics systems for naval training and simulation. As part of a dynamic organization, you will have the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art training and visual simulation systems for the US Navy. The role involves software development in a Linux environment using C++ and OpenGL to enhance the fidelity of visual simulation. If you are a motivated self-starter with a passion for graphics programming, this is the opportunity for you!Required Qualifications:BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Graphics, or related technical fieldExperience with C++ and Unreal Engine 4Strong knowledge of object oriented development and data structures, version control systems, and tools/libraries for the Linux operating systemCommitment to excellence, dedication to quality work results, ability to learn and apply new skills, and a flexible, positive, and energetic team playerExperience with OpenGL/GLSL/VulkanUS citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearanceGood to Have Qualifications:Experience with development in OpenSceneGraph, or similar enginesExperience in modern game programmingExperience with physics-based modeling, visual simulation systems, or real time graphics programmingExperience with developing for Virtual Reality headsetsKnowledge of graphics hardware and GPU internalsExperience with high performance computingExposure to unit testing, continuous integration, and code reviewsActive DoD Secret clearance highly preferredCode portfolio preferable for demonstration of previous or self-started projectsOriginal Posting Date:
