The Opportunity

InCharge Energy is seeking a

Product Marketing Intern

to support the development of competitive analysis, vertical-specific messaging and value propositions, and sales resources for the InControl charger management system. While part of the marketing team, the Software Product Marketing Intern will collaborate closely with the customer success and software product teams to develop and support the go-to-market initiatives for both new and renewal sales of InControl.

The Software Product Marketing Intern is a current MBA student or recent college graduate, with 2+ years experience in a sales/marketing role. The intern is undeterred by complexities and has a get-things-done attitude.

What You’ll Do

The Software Product Marketing Intern plays an important cross-functional role supporting the advancement of software sales. The intern will take the lead in developing marketing materials and sales resources that will both attract and retain InCharge’s software customers. The intern will also recommend, develop, and support marketing campaigns to drive product adoption and utilization as time permits.

Main responsibilities include:

Research and articulate the competitive landscape of InControl competitive platforms for sales team training and use.

Research, articulate, and gain buy-in for benefits of software to various InCharge customer verticals.

Develop sales resources such as case studies to support new and renewal sales.

Drive marketing campaigns to increase sales and product usage.

Other projects related to customer success as time permits.

Your Experience and Capabilities

Recent college graduate or current MBA student.

2+ years experience in sales or marketing preferred.

The intern must be detail-oriented, comfortable learning and navigating tech platforms (including InControl, Salesforce, Zoom, Excel) and satisfied with the administrative and research-oriented task of documenting account history.

Intern must be curious to understand and navigate the nuanced complexities of a customer’s historical data. Interns should be interested in learning about the sales process, B2B SaaS software renewals, and/or the EV charging industry. The role requires a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

US Hourly Range $17—$20 USD
