ManTech is seeking a Wargame Designer in support of a major Marine Corps Wargaming program in Quantico, VA.
In this role the successful candidate will effectively integrate Pioneer’s AI-enabled optimization capabilities. This customer facing position will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of wargame programs.

This position requires an active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work closely with government sponsors to develop wargame problem, purpose, and objectives.
Develop a custom analytical wargame design that addresses objectives and research questions.
Work with Wargame Developers to produce wargame materials to include: wargame player instructions, wargame player templates, wargame facilitation guides, road to war, orders of battle, friendly and enemy assessments, political guidance, and concepts of operation (CONOPS) or operations orders (OPORDS).
Oversee the execution of wargames by managing a Control Cell, directing player activity, and facilitating player discussions.
Contribute to analytic tasks that include: assessment and synthesis of game results, structuring and writing wargame reports, and coordination of post-game products.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years or more of experience
Current DOD Secret clearance, with ability to acquire TS/SCI
Ability to work in collaborative team/staff environments
Strong critical thinking and planning skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of military operations
MS Office, to include ability to build professional PowerPoint presentations
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional wargaming experience or background at the Title 10 or Joint/OSD level, especially professional wargame design experience or knowledge
8-12 years experience
TS/SCI Clearance
Military experience
Command or staff experience at battalion level or above
Understanding of future warfighting, threat trends, and capabilities
Experience in analytical wargame design and execution
Physical requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
