Apply today to join our Telecommunications team. This position will be reporting to our Lexington Office in Kentucky but can be based either in Kentucky or Ohio.

Responsibilities:Works within HS&E team to provide advice to Operations management on HS&E issues and topicsDemonstrates Ledcor core values by creating clear and timely "Flash Reports" and participating in detailed, fact-based incident investigationsDevelops skills and techniques in the implementation of Ledcor's HS&E Program, under the tutelage of senior HS&E staffAcquires basic knowledge of site safety program, emergency response, fire control systems, personal protective equipmentParticipates in project site Operations staff safety meetingsDevelops materials for daily work crew Toolbox Talk meetingParticipates in the development of Safe Work Practices and Job Hazard AssessmentsRequirements:2+ years' experience in Commercial construction, Telecommunication, or any related industry, with relevant health and safety experienceHas or actively working towards a diploma or certificate for occupational health and safety from a recognized post-secondary institutionPossession of OSHA 500/510 or ASP is an assetUnderstands and uses OH&S requirements on the jobAbility to effectively communicate and present information to field workers, while also effectively interacting with project management staff, clients, and customersAbility to provide a proactive approach to safety, including identification of operational and organizational issues, as well as developing and implementing strategies to solve themDemonstrated experience in risk assessment, program development, safety & health training, and accident investigationMust have and maintain a valid class driver's license with clean abstractSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirementsWorking Conditions:Position is field based.
