Description

The Regional Marketing Manager will lead the execution of data-driven marketing strategies to optimize year-round visitation, elevate brand visibility, and maximize revenue generation across Sandia Peak, Spider Mountain, Nordic Valley and Willamette Pass.

This position requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the ski industry, project management, expertise in leveraging AI and automation tools, and a proven ability to manage distinct brand identities while maintaining a cohesive overarching strategy.

The Regional Marketing Manager will directly oversee the marketing team members, collaborate with the MCP Marketing Team, outside contributors and work closely with directors of all departments to ensure resort goals are achieved. The Marketing Manager is required to have a comprehensive understanding of all resort product offerings, including the margins of key elements used to drive overall resort revenue.

Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution:Implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media, etc.) according to established plans.

Creative Oversight:Collaborate with the MCP Marketing Team to ensure marketing materials align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.

Project Management:Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.

Brand Consistency:Uphold brand identities across all platforms and channels, ensuring consistent messaging and visual elements.

Digital Marketing:Manage website content, SEO optimization, and paid advertising campaigns.

Email & Social Media:Execute email marketing campaigns and engage with audiences on social media platforms.

Partnership Development:Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners and sponsors.

PR & Communications:Implement PR strategies and maintain crisis communication plans.

Data Analysis & Reporting:Track campaign performance, analyze data, and provide insights to optimize marketing strategies.

Team Management:Supervise and mentor the marketing team, providing guidance and support.

Implementation of Revenue Strategies:Execute marketing plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales goals.

Guest Services Support:Collaborate with Guest Services Teams to provide top-tier customer service and sales support.

Pricing & Promotion:Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies and promotions.

Performance Tracking:Monitor and analyze sales data to track progress toward goals and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.2+ years of experience in marketing, ideally with experience in the ski industry, tourism, or outdoor recreation industries.Previous experience with multi-location or multi-brand marketing is highly desirable.Proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.Outstanding strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and project management skills.Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, including SEO/SEM, social media, AI, and email marketing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills.Comprehensive knowledge of creative tools (Adobe, Etc.)Proficiency in all Google Marketing Platform tools.Data-driven mindset with the ability to track and analyze campaign results.Passion for skiing, snowboarding, and the outdoors is a major plus.Job Requirements

Location: Hybrid remote position. The ideal candidate will reside within a commutable distance of Nordic Valley, Spider Mountain, Willamette Pass, or Sandia Peak..Travel: This position requires up to 25% travel to and from each resort location. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Flexibility: This role requires a balance of working independently from a home office and collaborating on-site at the resorts. Additionally, this role requires availability to work on weekends and during holiday periods.
