We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and highly motivated, has a great personality and a passion for delivering creative designs to become part of our tight-knit team. The Designer will create unique and trendy packaging for our line of art sets, activity sets and fashion products, canvas, and school supplies. This is a fast-paced work environment with significant opportunity for growth in the company.Tasks/ ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the design team to develop concepts and graphic designs.Assist Senior designer by collecting all assets needed to complete project.Assist in the creation of designs for both product and packaging that are visually appealing and on-brand.Modify and revise existing designs to improve design quality.Create Tight Art Renderings in Illustrator.Strong command of visual design capabilities, including composition, layout, information hierarchy, typography, and color judgementProduce factory ready final art files for final production.Weekly office visits to review packages from overseas. Review samples with team and send approval/revision feedback of packaging, artwork and product to factories.Office organizational help; preparing office for meetings with Buyers.Monthly competitive shopping to find both packaging and product trends. Share findings with team.Required ExperienceBachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field,
Preferred but not required.1-2 years of relevant experience in a design roleA strong portfolio showcasing design skills and projectsKnowledge of design trends and principlesProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Power PointExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to take direction and work independentlyAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyJob Type: Full-time 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMThis is a remote position, but the applicant must be able to come into the office at least once a week, as needed.
