The Marketing Specialist I– Journey & Engagement position exists to provide marketing engagement support in the development and implementation of multi-channel acquisition and cultivation strategies that engage new and existing constituent relationships into deeper relationship with the organization leading to purchases, donations, and content engagement. Will involve the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud platforms – Journey Builder and Mobile Studio
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides strategic and execution support in the development of engagement plans for new and existing constituents through digital and offline channels resulting in increasing conversion rates and revenue to the ministry
Assists marketing and ministry teams in the development of multi-channel new name acquisition strategies related to Parenting, Marriage, Kids, SOHL, Policy, and Community Outreach program areas. This includes input into acquisition offers, entering/scheduling of acquisition activities into Aprimo, input /coordination of creative asset development input/review of acquisition offer messaging, and assisting with building digital journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder platform
Assists marketing and ministry teams, with multichannel follow-up cultivation strategies acquired through Parenting, Marriage, Kids, SOHL, Policy Community Outreach, and e-Commerce initiatives. This includes input into cultivation engagement strategies and testing, entering/scheduling of cultivation activities in Aprimo, input into cultivation resource selection and call to action development, input/coordination of cultivation content creation (video, audio, text, SMS) input/review of cultivation messaging and assisting with building digital journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder platform
Assists marketing and fundraising teams with multi-channel gift of any amount (GOAA) offer strategies engaging prospective, lapsed, and existing donor segments. This includes input into GOAA strategies and testing, scheduling of GOAA engagement activities in Aprimo, GOAA resource selection, input/coordination of creative assets needed and input/review of messaging and assisting with building digital journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder platform
Assists in the development of acquisition landing pages related to cultivation initiatives
Assists in cultivation/journey engagement reporting through documentation of reporting requirements with Ministry Reporting teams and Digital Reporting Teams, review, and summarization of results to marketing management. Includes e-Mail reporting, Google Analytics Reporting, purchase, and donation reporting
Assists in cultivation/journey engagement research projects in by providing input and documentation of research requirements to Director of Constituent Research and research staff. Input into application of research results into cultivation testing and engagement strategies
Handles cultivation coordination tasks including source code management, Aprimo scheduling tasks, GA tracking coordination and other marketing execution tasks as required
Supports other key strategic initiatives and projects, identified by senior management

Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
1-3 years of multi-channel marketing and/or fundraising campaign strategy development experience
1-3 years of digital marketing and engagement experience
1-3 years of experience with marketing database strategy a plus
Experience with Wordpress, a plus
Experience with video content development a plus
Experience in A/B Testing Methodology a plus
Experience in Social Media Marketing, a plus
Experience in Google Analytics and Social Analytics a plus
Experience in creating marketing segments based on data analytics & implementing a marketing and fundraising communication program a plus
Strong customer, team, and results orientation and adaptable and flexible to changes in the organization
Skills, Abilities, and Special Talents/Gifts:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple projects
Ability to manage performance measures needed to support the overall FOF effectiveness of the engagement efforts
Desire to learn new marketing engagement platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Pay Range: $24.00 to $27.50/hr
