YOUAs the Project Manager - Building Technology, you will oversee operations of Truss Design Services and Truss Implementations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time)Coordinate projects with our Design Services and Component Review Services teams, working closely with internal and external customers to document, schedule, manage, design, and communicate projects as required. Delegate work and oversee work completed by the Associate Project Manager. (40%)

Manage and track the process for Design Services. Utilize project management software and processes to plan, track, and communicate progress of projects with team members and stakeholders. Ensure plans and timelines are kept up to date and communicated. Provide information and progress reports to stakeholders. Maintain records and provide periodic reports on team performance and throughput. (25%)

Continually review and refine processes for project management across the Operations &Distribution Teams. Work with Managers, Supervisors, Leads and Sr Project Manager to improve processes and tools with an aim to improve the ways in which the department initiates, tracks, and completes projects. (20%)

Collaborate with the sales team by assisting them in performing client needs assessment to determine potential customer fit for either software or services. This includes advising on the technical capabilities of our software for demonstrations and identifying technical requirements of the customer and ensuring our software can meet their needs. Provide support, when available, for Help Desk phone calls either through direct line or through Customer support software. (10%)

Internally assist with the software implementation process. This will include establishing customer success measures in alignment with system capabilities, advising on best practices. (5%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIf you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:Bachelor's degree and/or Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design/Drafting Diploma preferred.5 years' experience with design and engineering of prefabricated metal plate connected wood trusses and EWP. Understanding of wood framed construction practices, details, related building codes, and design standards.Math: Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret construction documents including architectural and structural drawings.Speaking: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, coworkers, and the general public.Writing: Ability to write reports and business correspondence.Analysis/Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Attention to Detail: Ability to diligently attend to details and maintain organization while accomplishing tasks.Computer/Software: Ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite and Truss Design Software. Working knowledge of SQL databases, and basic understanding of computer networking, along with hardware and software troubleshooting.Driving record: Possess and maintain a driving record, which complies with company policy.

WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. his role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.

TRAVEL REQUIREDTravel is required up to 15%.

WORK STATUS & LOCATIONThis full-time, exempt position is remote and ideally located in the Southeast region of US.

RELOCATIONRelocation is not available for this position.

Pay$80,300.00 - $128,500.00 / year* Posted pay range is based upon national average and may vary depending on geographical work location.
