All we need is you.The opportunitySouthern New Hampshire University is currently seeking student employees on the Learner Engagement and Academic Innovation Team to work as a CPBL Design Center Student Catalyst, to oversee the CPBL design center and assist the CPBL Director.
NOTE: YOU MUST BE RECOMMENDED FOR THESE POSITIONS BY A FACULTY MEMBER.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain a weekly schedule to manage lab space, supplies, and to assist students as needed.Collaborate with the CPBL Faculty Lead (or their designee) to create a calendar of events that will help students network with their faculty, staff and students who are part of their major.Promote events for the space, (as posters, on Brightspace, and via social media).Create a space reservation system for the Annex Design Thinking space.Facilitate workshops alongside CPBL Faculty Lead in the Design Thinking space.Other duties, responsibilities or activities may be assigned at any time.Provide feedback to faculty and the team to help meet students' needs.Minimum Qualifications:Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU On Campus Undergraduate degree programWork study part of financial aid packageStudents with work study may be prioritizedRecommendation from a faculty memberFamiliarity with Design Thinking and basic design software (Adobe Creative Suite)Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential functions of this rolePreferred Qualifications:Ability to promote using social media.Highly dependable and flexible.Patient, detail-oriented, compassionate, helpful.Work Hours:Between 8-10 hours per week on average, however extra hours may be available with approval.We believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated.
